Our mission is to engage in research in the field of biotechnology, development of new products and active substances, production, distribution, and sales of microbiological preparations with application in agricultural production and environmental protection.
Industrial production of SLAVOL microbiological fertilizer began in 2005. according to the recipe of prof. Dr. Snežana Đorđević. The results of the application of the Slavol products in the yield and quality of different crops were quickly recognized by agricultural producers, and on that basis, our company began to develop.
Agrounik has 20 registered and certified products in its product range that are used as biofertilizers for soil treatment, seed and foliar fertilization, biopesticides, as well as inoculants for silage preparation and wastewater treatment.
In addition to existing products, Agrounik is also engaged in innovation and development activities through its subsidiary Biounik. It is the holder of several successfully completed domestic and European projects aimed at developing new innovative solutions in agriculture and ecology. Also, Agrounik connects regional institutes and faculties of natural sciences in its projects and engages the most recognized experts in the fields of molecular biology, plant protection, and microbiology.
All preparations are the intellectual property of Agrounik and are protected by a patent.
The company’s headquarters, production plant, and warehouse capacity of 5000m2 are located in Šimanovci, next to the Belgrade-Šid highway.
A team of 12 regional managers- agricultural engineers distributes the production program to our partners every day and educates consumers in Serbia.
Agrounik operates through its representative offices- subsidiaries in Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, North Macedonia, and Russia.
Agrounik also exports its products to Russia, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Slovenia, and Montenegro.

Agro-nika was founded in 2010 in Croatia as a subsidiary of Agrounik. The establishment of the company was initiated by the desire of Agrounik to market its products in Croatia as well as in other EU countries. The company’s headquarters and distribution center are located in Tripnja near Vukovar.
Agro-nika employs agricultural engineers who sell products from the Agrounik range in Syrmia, Slavonia, Baranja, and Zagorje.
Also, our team of 4 agricultural engineers provides expert advice on plant protection and nutrition, and animal nutrition.
The results of our products, which have been proven in production, have been recognized by many agricultural producers in Croatia, and with their long-term trust, Agro-nika has achieved exceptional business results.
Agrounik BIH was founded in 2014 to respond to the demand for products in the territory of BiH as well as educating the market about our production program, and creating a sales network.
Today, our products are present in over 200 agricultural pharmacies in BiH.
A team of two agricultural engineers educates the consumers and distributes our products on the market.
To improve research, Agrounik founded the company Biounik, which is registered as a research and development center at MPNTR (Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development).

Agrounik founded its subsidiary in Macedonia in 2017, to bring products and technology closer to agricultural producers through direct contact, as well as providing support to long-term partners.
Products from our range, which are the intellectual property of Agrounik and protected by patent, have been present on the North Macedonian market for over 10 years. Agrounik biofertilizers for soil treatment, seeds, and foliar fertilization, as well as inoculants for silage preparation and wastewater treatment, have found application in olericulture, orcharding, and arable farming.
Agrounik North Macedonia employs an agricultural engineer who visits agricultural pharmacies and producers every day, to create an offer of our products on the territory of North Macedonia, and on the other hand to raise the demand for the same.
The company in North Macedonia is another step towards our goal – to become a regional leader in research, development, production, distribution, and sales of preparations based on microorganisms and their metabolites.
Agrounik founded its daughter company Agrounik Rus in Moscow. Our company registered the Slavol brand and started the product placement on the Russian market 2 years ago, in cooperation with the company Tehnoexport from Sergiev Posad.
Given the great interest in our Slavol, we have decided to support the rising demand and our partners by hiring professional staff, enabling direct access and education to agricultural producers

Areas of activity
The activities of the Agrounik team include a complete process. We are engaged in scientific research that is the foundation of our production, while the quality of the production and comprehensiveness of distribution set the standard in domestic agriculture.
Production takes place in Šimanovci near Belgrade. The production plant is equipped with the most modern fermenters for industrial multiplication of microorganisms and the production of their metabolites.
The production process is automated, with a built-in CIP system for washing and sterilization. Modern electronically controlled packaging lines enable the packaging of products in different types of packaging. The control of the production process as well as the quality of the semi-finished and finished products are performed in each defined phase of the production cycle in modernly equipped laboratories for microbiology and plant physiology.
The warehouse space is equipped with pallet storage and controlled conditions for storage and warehousing of finished products.
We have a HACCP certificate that guarantees a quality standard at every stage of production and maximum safety of our products in agricultural production.
For the application of our products in organic production, we have an ETKO certificate that is accredited by the European Union. The certificate confirms that the use of all our products in organic production is safe for the environment and that the product is completely natural without chemical additives.
Agrounik is the winner of the International Star for Leadership, Technology, and Innovation Award “International star for leadership in quality Paris 2011”, by the International Committee in Paris, which is awarded for good business results, customer satisfaction, planning, and decision making, human resources, and production processes.
Agrounik is registered as a development and production center with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the RS (MNPRT), which gives it the opportunity to perform research, creation, development, application and placement of innovations.
Agrounik participates in a number of scientific projects funded by the Fund for Innovation and MNPRT, cooperating with numerous official scientific institutions in Serbia and the region: Agricultural Faculties in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, Cacak, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and food in Skopje, the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade and the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering in Belgrade, etc.
SLAVOL, as the first recognizable product of the company Agrounik, received a number of awards, of which we emphasize the gold medal – “EUREKA” in Brussels in 2005, the gold medal “IDEA” in 2005 in Hungary and the patent award of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, in 2007.
Agrounik has been building a distribution network for over 15 years in the territories of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia. Recently, we started the development of the distribution network on the territory of Russia.
Our team of 21 agronomists contributes to the development of a network of partners and satisfied agricultural producers in the region.
We cooperate with all sales channels in agriculture from agricultural pharmacies, wholesalers, large estates and cooperatives. Within our logistics network, we have 13 warehouses in the region from which our products are distributed daily.
Agrounik is recognized in Serbia and abroad for the implementation of science in the economy: connecting scientific work as a result of which new products are created, their production, application and sales. The results of scientific work are transmitted to agricultural producers through employed agricultural engineers.
In Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, there are 21 permanent agricultural engineers who are in daily contact with agricultural producers, provide education on the benefits of using our technology in organic and conventional production, distribute products, participate in fairs and seminars.
The results of the experiment are printed in brochures that are available to a large number of manufacturers. In that way, the motto “science from the laboratory to the field” was realized. For the achieved results, Agrounik has won numerous awards.
In 2008, Agrounik was named the best small and medium enterprise, and Prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic was named Entrepreneur of the Year. The award was given by “Blic” and “Banca Intesa” with the support of the RS Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Agency for Foreign Investments and Business Promotion SIEPA, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the RS National Employment Service.
Agrounik is recognized by the credit rating company Coface as a company that deserves the Excellent SME certificate thanks to its positive financial and credit rating.
Agrounik is the winner of the Golden Superbrand award for the most innovative company in 2015/2016, based on the following criteria: brand recognition and reputation, long-term consistency and reliability, and responsible business. Prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic, founder and owner of AGROUNIK d.o.o. is the winner of the award “Flower of Success for the Woman of the Dragon” in 2009. The award was given to her for “the most European women’s company.” The award of the Association of Business Women “Flower of Success for the Woman of the Dragon” is the only recognition intended for the support and affirmation of women’s entrepreneurship in Serbia. This event gained an international character because the European Commission included the “Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman” in its official program.
AGROUNIK d.o.o. is the winner of the award “Captain Miša Anastasijević” for the best small and medium enterprise in 2008.
This recognition is awarded every year for the contribution to the development of entrepreneurial culture and creativity. The recognition “Captain Miša Anastasijević” is awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad and the company Media Invent.
AGROUNIK d.o.o. was declared the best small and medium enterprise, and prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic for Entrepreneur in 2008. The award is given by one of the highest-circulation dailies, Blic and Banka Intesa. The award began in 2007, and the organizers’ idea is to encourage entrepreneurship and give small businesses space to show results. In an effort to improve the business climate for entrepreneurs, the project was supported by the ministries of economy and finance, the Agency for Foreign Investments and Business Promotion SIEPA, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the National Employment Service.
At the International Exhibition of Inventions in Hungary “IDEA” in 2005, prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic, is the winner of the award for innovation for the SLAVOL recipe.
The exhibition is organized by the Association “Idea – Club 13” from Hungary and is one of the most important international events in this field.
Prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic is the winner of the award for innovation for the recipe of SLAVOL, at the International Fair of Innovation, Research and New Technologies. The award was presented to her in 2005. Brussels Eureka is the most important world fair event in this area.
The recognition at the very beginning of the production of Slavol shows that the unique formula of this fertilizer was recognized at the very beginning as a new dimension in fertilization not only in Serbia but in the whole world.
AGROUNIK d.o.o. is the winner of the Gold Medal of the Novi Sad Fair for the production of microbiological fertilizer SLAVOL. The award was presented in 2004 at the International Entrepreneurship Fair.
From the very beginning of SLAVOL production, the quality of this fertilizer has been recognized as a new dimension in fertilization. AGROUNIK d.o.o. has proven with its product that scientific work can be translated into a product and then successfully placed on the market. The award at the International Entrepreneurship Fair at the Novi Sad Fair is just a confirmation that AGROUNIK d.o.o. from the very beginning he was on the right track.
Prof. Dr. Snezana Djordjevic, who compiled the recipe for the natural microbiological fertilizer SLAVOL, won a silver plaque at the International Fair of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity “Tesla Fest”, in 2004.
The silver plaque at this event, which bears the name of one of the world’s most famous inventors, Nikola Tesla, confirms that SLAVOL, with its specific formula, represents a real patent.
The organizer of the “Tesla Fest” is the Association of Inventors of Serbia. Every year, more than 300 exhibitors from different European countries take part in this event.
